REGISTRATION
|
** Updates** Registration for Dorm Lodging is closed. If you need a room here's a link to local lodging. Registration is required to attend except for Saturday's Exhibition which is open to the public. |
Luthiers, their associates and families, lutherie suppliers, instrument dealers, and all other interested individuals are invited to attend. Current GAL members pay less for registration, and only members are eligible to exhibit. If you are not a Guild member, we encourage you to join. Everyone must register to attend convention events. You must register by the deadline in order to exhibit or to stay on campus. You may register at the door if you just want to attend the convention. Sorry, we do not have daily registration rates.
REGISTRATION FEES allow you to attend all convention events: lectures, demonstrations, exhibitions, concerts, etc. We don't have a per day fee.
EXHIBITION FEES allow members to exhibit their instruments or lutherie supplies at all exhibition sessions, and includes registration for the exhibitor. Members whose exhibit includes the sale of supplies or services (such as schools) pay the higher supplier exhibition fee. One 6-foot table will be provided for each exhibit; suppliers may purchase up to two additional tables.
GUEST REGISTRATION FEES cover attendance at all events for the nonmember guests of registered participants. Each registered participant is allowed one guest at the lower guest fee; however, if your guests are members of your family the one person limit does not apply.
DORMITORY LODGING AND CAFETERIA MEALS OR JUST LODGING are offered as one package.
Package 1 includes four nights lodging (Wednesday through Saturday in standard dorm, double or single occupancy; linens provided), and three meals a day starting with dinner on Wednesday and ending with breakfast on Sunday.
If you would like to share a room with another member you must register at
the same time, preferably in the same mailing, or same day online. (Each registrant
may pay separately.) When signing up for double occupancy please provide the
name of the person you would like to share a room with, we don't assign roommates.
Standard dorms usually have two beds to a room with a bath down the hall.
Please indicate when you register if you need to be on a lower floor or have other needs. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special assistance should contact us. We will notify PLU and attempt to arrange necessary services.
Buffet meals are served in the campus dining hall, conveniently located in the same building as our exhibition. Meatless entrees and a large salad bar will be available for vegetarians.
Sunday night lodging (no meals) may also be added to your dorm package if desired.
Those not wishing to stay on campus should click here for a list of area motels. The motels on Hosmer street are closest (about 4 miles), Puyallup is not too far either. Meal choices for those staying off campus include paying cash on a per-meal basis at the cafeteria, and restaurants within walking and driving distance of the campus.
The deadline for dorm lodging and exhibiting is closed, but you may still register at the door to attend. If you like, you can fill out one of forms (see below links) ahead of time and bring it along.
