  That’s My Cat

1

I’ve got a cat who sweats like a dog
Runs like a deer and sleeps like a log
My kitty struts in a ten gallon hat
He sure is pretty, Oh that’s my cat

Chorus:

Oh, that’s my cat
He’s bigger than a buffalo
Never gets enough of those
Mice and rats
He’s a whiz at catchin’ lizards while he dances and sings
Every day the birds are prayin’ that he won’t grow wings
If the fishes get their wishes then he’ll never learn to swim
But I wouldn’t put it past him, he could do it on a whim
‘Cause that’s my cat

2

Oh, I’ve got a cat who’s long and tall
Sleeps in the kitchen with his feet in the hall
Purrs so loud the whole house shakes
And everybody thinks it’s a big earthquake

3

My cat likes to play guitar
Drives around in a fancy car
You better listen when my cat talks
He’s got a silver dish and a gold cat box

4

My cat used to play harmonica
Then one day he went catatonic
He had to stop playin’ in his band
And the doctors gave him a CAT scan

5

My cat died and he went to heaven
Saint Peter met him at the Seven-Eleven
Gave him a harp and a golden gown
They went out to paint the town

6

My cat died and went to hell
The whole place stank with an awful smell
He said to the Devil, "If you want me to stay
You gotta clean that cat box every day"

7

My cat died and now he’s dead
I made his skin into a banjo head
Every time I play that thing
You can hear my kitty cat sing

8

My cat he came back to life
settled right down with his kitty cat wife
They raised 43 children in a little bitty house
eatin’ Ratatouille and Chocolate Mouse

9

My cat used up all nine lives
He said goodbye to his kids and wives
They took him up to heaven in a golden cart
He hollered, "Here I am, now the party can start"
